JOB OPPORTUNITY @ DVMISSION: part-time fundraiser sought to help develop the DVMISSION 48 Hour Film Challenge as a sustainable venture.
The position will run from as soon as possible in October 2018 to 1st March 2019. We are offering 4 hours a week at £10 an hour throughout this period.
DVMISSION is Portsmouth and the South Coasts annual 48 Hour Film Challenge. We have been running for over ten years. The organisation is a not-for-profit run by volunteers and though we charge a small entry fee and sell tickets to the event we need to raise additional funds to cover the costs of the event. The next challenge takes place in March 2019.

We are in a position offer mentoring and support from professional fundraisers to whoever takes on the role, provision of marketing and promotional materials, feedback/review from supervisor, references/credits, free tickets for the DVMISSION event at the Wedgewood Rooms on 9th March 2019 and whatever else we can help with.
We think this would suit students or graduates in the fields of event management, marketing, sales, arts administration, media sales, marketing and management. The role will include attending networking events and meetings to pitch to potential sponsors. It would suit someone with a passion for development of local creative industries and/or film and cinema.
