Guess what? The DVMISSION 48 Hour Film Challenge registration opens 1st Nov – we are back and it’s bigger and better than ever! We’re gearing up for our 19th edition and we’re buzzing with excitement. Mark your calendars because from 5pm on the 1st of March to 5pm on the 3rd, it’s going to be a whirlwind of creativity, passion, and pure cinematic magic.
Then, for the grand finale, we’ve got the gala screening and awards night set for Saturday, 9th March at the iconic Wedgewood Rooms. Trust me, you won’t want to miss this!
A little heads-up for all you eager beavers – team registration kicks off on 1st November 2023. But here’s the twist: we’re capping it at 30 teams this year. So, if you’re keen, make sure to hop onto our FilmFreeway profile and get your team registered pronto.
Oh, and a quick note: this year, we’re switching things up a bit. Teams won’t receive complimentary tickets for the gala night. However, you can snag up to 4 tickets at a special discounted rate of just £5. It’s a shame but things are getting expensive and we want to be sure to deliver some quality entertainment.

1. Stay Hydrated and Fed: Trust me, your brain works better when it’s not running on empty.
